The NeuroKind Coach is a neurodiversity-affirming coaching practice. I am deeply passionate about reshaping the current narrative around neurodiversity , and I deliver coaching from the perspective of an ADHDer with lived experience- especially the feelings associated with navigating a neurotypical world.
I aim to deliver holistic support tailored to the individual; recognising that neurodivergent people are not a uniform group, and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to how people think, feel, or function within neurotypical systems and expectations.
I work with neurodivergent individuals in a collaborative, grounded way that is shaped around real life rather than idealised outcomes. The NeuroKind Coach is a solo practice, created from a personal understanding of the challenges neurodivergent people experience in a society based on neurotypical framed environments.
My work is also informed by my yoga teaching. Particularly in relation to nervous system awareness, regulation, and the connection between body, emotion, and daily functioning.
Trickiest part to write. Why? Because as many of us experience; “oversharing” has always come easily for me. Still willing to be completely open about my entire life story, but no longer consider it “oversharing” (personal growth in action there 👽). Challenge here is keeping it brief for the purpose of a website so it doesn’t become an autobiography! I’ll bullet-point some key things that may or may not resonate, and keep it simple (but always happy to share personal experiences in detail when helping create mutual respect, trust and collaboration.)
I’m not a coach who claims to have my ducks in a row; but I do understand what it’s like when burnout and overwhelm take over and you feel like you’re barely surviving. I’m still learning what it takes to keep going while still in the middle of it. For me, my value as a coach doesn’t come from being ‘sorted’, it comes from being real and usable in lived experience. I want to be your collaborator and cheerleader not a life manager!
Say HelloThese principles guide every coaching session and every interaction.
I listen to connect; not just understand or fix. Change and growth occur through a connection that utilises what’s understood and harnesses empathy and compassion.
Without focusing solely on “deficits”, dismissing struggle, or forcing positivity, it’s about reframing the way people understand themselves. Looking beyond challenges to recognise strengths and ways of functioning that can support meaningful growth.
Insight is important, but it only matters when it becomes actionable in lived experience. This is about turning understanding into practical support that feels realistic and usable in daily life.
